Missional Communities

Bethshan is a regional church but a passion for local cities and communities. To do that we need a gathering context that builds family rather than just attendance. In addition to Sunday gatherings we meet regularly, all across the region in medium sized groups we call missional communities. They gather around geographical areas, or like-minded passions. The intention is that these groups are 'big enough to dare but small enough to care' so that each individual can find meaningful relationships and have a place to grow where they are known as well as the opportunity of being part of something big and exciting.

Our MCs have between 10 and 30 people in them and meet in people’s homes, businesses, community locations all over the North East. They provide a relaxed atmosphere with opportunity for connecting with friends and new members and eating together as well as teaching prayer and sharing with one another. We aim for each MC to provide pastoral care, accountability, and an opportunity for growth both in our personal relationships with God and in seeing people come to know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

If you would like more information as to how to get involved in an MC please email our office and one of our pastoral team will be in touch.
